Accept USDT payments in WooCommerce
Many crypto buyers keep their savings in USDT, and some will only buy where they can pay with it. Stablevoy lets your WooCommerce store accept USDT next to USDC, with the money forwarded to your own wallet as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Which USDT, on which network
- Arbitrum One: USDT0, Tether's version of USDT for this network.
- OP Mainnet: USDT0, Tether's version of USDT for this network.
- Polygon PoS: USDT0, Tether's version of USDT for this network.
- BNB Smart Chain: Binance-Peg USDT, the version most people withdraw from Binance.
- Avalanche C-Chain: USDT issued by Tether directly on Avalanche.
USDT exists on many networks, and a customer can only pay on a network where both of you have it. Stablevoy accepts USDT on 5 networks. Wallets usually show USDT0 simply as USDT.
Tron and Ethereum
USDT on Tron and on Ethereum mainnet is not supported. A customer who holds USDT on Tron can withdraw it from their exchange to BNB Smart Chain or another supported network instead, which most exchanges offer.
Why the network matters to your customer
The customer pays the network fee from their wallet, in the network's own coin: ETH on Arbitrum, ETH on Optimism, POL on Polygon, BNB on BNB Chain and AVAX on Avalanche. On all of them it costs a few cents or less. The customer needs a little of that coin in the same wallet as the USDT; without it the wallet cannot send the payment.
How it works
Each order gets its own deposit address, a contract that can only forward the money to your payout wallet and the fee to us. After the payment is confirmed, the funds are forwarded and WooCommerce marks the order as paid. You never have to withdraw anything from us, because nothing is kept on our side.
How the contracts workSet it up
Setup is the same as for USDC: sign in with your wallet, set the payout address, create a store with the networks you want, install the plugin and paste the API key. If USDC is already running in your store, USDT is enabled on the same store with the networks that carry it.
Setup stepsFees
The first 1,000 USD of payments to a payout wallet is free, once. After that the fee is 0.5% of each payment, taken on-chain when the funds are forwarded. There is no monthly fee and no setup fee, and the contract does not allow a fee above 2%.
Questions
Can I receive USDT and pay out in USDC?
No. Stablevoy forwards exactly the token the customer paid. If you want everything in one token, you can swap it in your own wallet.
My customer sent USDT on Tron. What now?
Tron is not supported, so no deposit address is shown for it and the payment page offers only the supported networks. A transfer sent on a different network than the one on the payment page does not reach the invoice.
Is USDT0 the same as USDT?
USDT0 is Tether's USDT on Arbitrum, Optimism and Polygon. It is worth one dollar like USDT on other networks, and most wallets list it as USDT.
