Accept USDT TRC-20 in WooCommerce with no fee
Tron is where most USDT is sent, and many customers keep their USDT there. With Stablevoy your WooCommerce store accepts USDT on Tron without a contract in between and without a fee from us: the customer pays your own Tron wallet directly, and the order is marked as paid once the payment is final.
How a Tron payment works
Each order asks for its amount plus a few thousandths of a cent, for example 25.990137 USDT instead of 25.99. Every order of your store pays the same wallet, so those last four digits tell the orders apart. The payment page shows the exact amount, your wallet address and a QR code of the address.
Nothing passes through Stablevoy: there is no deposit address and no forwarding, so the money is in your wallet the moment the customer sends it. The order counts as paid after 1 confirmation, about a minute, once its block is final.
All supported networksWhat it costs
USDT on Tron has no fee from Stablevoy: the buyer pays your own wallet directly, so there is nothing to forward. The customer pays the Tron network fee from their own wallet, in TRX. For comparison, on the other networks the fee is 0.5% and the first 1,000 USD is free.
How we compare with other gatewaysHow customers pay
TronLink in the browser, or a mobile wallet that supports Tron, such as Trust Wallet, connected with WalletConnect: in both cases the payment page prepares the transfer of the exact amount and the buyer confirms it in the wallet. Any other wallet or exchange that can send USDT on Tron (TRC-20) to an address works too. The QR code on the payment page holds only the wallet address, so the buyer enters the exact amount shown on the page. From an exchange, the withdrawal fee must not be taken out of that amount.
Payments from exchanges
Each Tron invoice asks for its amount plus a few thousandths of a cent, for example 25.990137 instead of 25.99. Those last four digits identify the order. If an exchange takes its withdrawal fee out of the amount, the digits still match and the payment is attached to the order, which is then marked underpaid or overpaid by the usual rules. A transfer that matches no order is listed in your dashboard, and you assign it to the right order by hand.
On the payment page the customer is reminded to send the exact amount. On Bybit, for example, that is the setting "Withdrawal Amount Entered = Amount Received". A transfer you assign by hand can belong to an order of yours up to seven days after the order expired.
Set it up
- Sign in to the Stablevoy dashboard with your wallet. There is no sign-up form.
- Set your Tron payout address: paste it, take it from TronLink, or read it from a mobile wallet such as Trust Wallet. You confirm the change with a signature of your login wallet.
- Turn on Tron in your store settings.
- Install the Stablevoy plugin from WordPress.org and paste your API key, or create payment links in the dashboard.
Your wallet, your keys
Stablevoy never holds money on Tron. We watch the network for transfers to your wallet and tell your store when an order is paid. If our service stopped, every payment already made would still be in your wallet.
SecurityUSDT on the other networks
The same store can take USDT on Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain and Avalanche as well, through one-time deposit addresses that forward the money to your wallet.
Accept USDT in WooCommerceQuestions
Is there really no fee on Tron?
No. Stablevoy takes no fee on Tron, and there are no contracts there: the buyer pays your own wallet directly, so there is nothing to forward. The buyer pays only their own wallet or exchange fee. Payments on Tron do not use up the free volume either.
Which wallets can pay with USDT on Tron?
TronLink in the browser, or a mobile wallet that supports Tron, such as Trust Wallet, connected with WalletConnect: in both cases the payment page prepares the transfer of the exact amount and the buyer confirms it in the wallet. Any other wallet or exchange that can send USDT on Tron (TRC-20) to an address works too. The QR code on the payment page holds only the wallet address, so the buyer enters the exact amount shown on the page. From an exchange, the withdrawal fee must not be taken out of that amount.
What if the customer sends a different amount?
The money is not lost: it is in your wallet. If the last four digits still match, the payment is attached to the order, which is marked underpaid or overpaid by the usual rules. If they do not, the transfer is listed in your dashboard and you assign it to the right order by hand.
Do I need TRX in my wallet?
No. You only receive, and receiving USDT on Tron needs no TRX. The customer pays the network fee in TRX from their own wallet.
Can the customer pay from an exchange?
Yes, as long as the exchange sends the exact amount shown on the payment page and does not take its withdrawal fee out of it.
